In the Workshop Manuals for Volkswagen Passenger Cars and Audi, the use of power screwdrivers has been permitted for some time now. When using the standard bit sets, the ball catches (fasteners) may cause the attachments to come loose. In order to fulfil occupational health and safety requirements, a special bit set for power screwdrivers according to DIN 3121 has therefore been added to the product range.
This ensures a secure connection of sockets in conjunction with power screwdrivers (cordless screwdrivers).

The set VAS 262 019 offers an advantage when assembling components with many securing bolts, e.g. underbody cladding, battery covers, as using power screwdrivers reduces the time taken to carry out repairs.
The set is suitable for machine-operated drives in accordance with DIN 3121 and covers squares of sizes 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2”.
