The steering wheel scales VAS 6458 are required on vehicles with dynamic steering to align the steering wheel. The steering wheel must be aligned horizontally or centrally to the middle of the steering gear. The steering wheel scales feature an ergonomic handle for one-handed operation and special mountings in soft-touch design. This assures the unit can be attached precisely to all Audi steering wheels without steering wheel damage. To calibrate the steering gear, a VW/Audi approved wheel alignment computer and a diagnosis unit VAS 5051B/5052 are required in addition to the steering wheel scales VAS 6458.
