This universal device can be used to service all suspension struts fitted to Volkswagen and Audi passenger vehicles.

Included in the items supplied are the spring tensioner V.A.G 1752/1, the strut holderV.A.G 1752/2, the coated spring retainers V.A.G 1752/3, 1752/4, 1752/5 and an assembly holder for fixture to the workbench.
The strut holder allows secure fixing of the strut. It is equipped with a quick clamping device, replaceable clamping jaws and a scale to adjust the offset between top and bottom holder eyes. The strut holder can be fixed securely to the workbench or clamped in the vice for more flexibility.
The spring tensioner is very versatile due to its interchangeable, coated spring retainers for various sizes of springs.
