Application:

The shielded arc welding equipment VAS 821 003 is a compact, easily movable, inverter-based pulsed current source with a maximum welding power of 280 Amp. The device is equipped with 2 integrated 4-roller wire feed units. It is also suitable for welding wire filler metals such as aluminium (e.g., AlSi 5 and AlSi 12) that are sensitive to the wire feed function. The synergy programs for steel, stainless steel, MIG brazing and aluminium materials stored in the device can be easily called up from the program memory via the “2-button operating unit” with a large multi-colored display and can be processed in the “Easy mode” by specifying only 2 parameters. Further advantages are the intuitive operation and a reproducible process reliability. In addition, a tack weld function for manual welding is available.
