Starting difficulties with diesel engines are often due to leaks in the fuel pipe system.
This possible fault may be investigated by generating a slight over pressure with the cooling system tester V.A.G 1274 in conjunction with adapter V.A.G 1274/2.

Design and features

Plastic adapter with 800 mm long hose and banjo union Ø 12 mm (fuel resistant).
For testing, the adapter is connected between the cooling system tester and the injection pump return pipe.
