Using the repair set it is possible to repair 7/16" threads in accordance with manufacturer`s specifications.
Initial use is for the Audi A5 and the Audi Q5.
The thread size mentioned is often used for the threaded connection/anchor point of the seat belt.
The thread inserts can be used for both aluminum and steel holes.
The approved repair procedure is described in the relevant workshop manual.
