The new diagnosis lead VAS 5051/5A for vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051 supports the CAN (Controller Area Network) and J1850 (US standard at GM and Ford) diagnostic reports in addition to the 3m diagnosis leads VAS 5051/1 (EU) and VAS 5051/5 (USA) currently in service.
The diagnosis lead VAS 5051/5A thus replaces the diagnosis leads VAS 5051/1 (EU) and VAS 5051/5 (USA) and is included in the items supplied with VAS 5051 from DOC number 13750.
