With the window repair set VAS 6093, stone chip damage to bonded windscreens can be repaired in accordance with legal requirements. Special UV-sensitive resin is pressed into the cavity and then hardened. Once hardening is complete, the damaged area is crystal clear, as hard as glass and has the same breakage index.
The following can be repaired:

Combined breakage
Stars and cracks

Repair conditions:
Damage may only affect outer surface of window
Damage must be outside of driver`s field of view
Damage must not continue into rubber surrounding
Crater from impact must not be bigger than 5 mm
Cracks from impact must not be longer than 50 mm
