When flush bonded windows (currently in Passat, Audi 80 and Audi 100/200 vehicles) are cut out, the electric cutter V.A.G 1561A supplements cutting device V.A.G 1474 and cutting tool V.A.G 1351. In some cases both cutting methods must be used together.
Oscillating blades made of special steel guarantee that V.A.G 1561A has the best possible cutting performance. There are no hazardous gases emitted in contrast to cutting with thermal blades. Excess adhesive can be removed without causing damage. Further fields of use are the removal of spare wheel wells in the Audi 100/83 and Audi 200/84 vehicles and the removal of bonded trims. The cutting speed required is set by an electronically controlled cutting frequency.
