VAS 6910A High Voltage Module Balancer Setup with ODIS

This tool will be autoshipped to ALL Audi and Porsche dealers when stock is available.

More and more electric vehicles are coming onto the market and thus sooner or later also into service operations. The previous module balancer perfectly covered the current battery world. But in 2024, new vehicle platforms with a new generation of batteries will be launched. The HV modules are getting bigger, with more cells connected exclusively in series. As a result, the module voltage rises to over 60 volts, depending on the state of charge and model. As a result, the new generation of batteries offers customers more range.

With the new Module Balancer VAS 6910A, you are ready for future customer requirements across all brands. The new VAS 6910A, with its technically sophisticated components, is precisely designed to enable this higher voltage. It is the perfect answer to the new generation of HV batteries and offers additional new functions.

The VAS 6910A is the best solution because ...

  • it offers a higher voltage of up to 400 V, which is necessary for the new battery generation.
  • the charging capacity also increases to up to 11 kW – and is therefore significantly higher than the maximum 2.3 kW of the previous model.
  • it can be used both for the new and for the previous battery generations.
  • it requires no additional software. The VAS 6910A can be controlled entirely via ODIS or PIWIS. This prevents incorrect entries due to manual transfer.
  • your diagnostic tester now only needs to be connected during initialization. During charging and discharging, the test performer can always be used elsewhere in the qualified workshop. The LED displays on the device give information about the conclusion of the process.
  • the voltage balancing device for high-voltage battery module (module balancer) has an intuitive operating concept. Integration into ODIS and PIWIS also simplifies control and makes the entire process reliable for the user.
  • updates are also controlled centrally. Firmware updates to the balancer can be directly initiated via ODIS/PIWIS, consequently combining the necessary update processes.
  • mains power regeneration or feeding power into home storage is now also enabled. Discharging can thus be used in a sustainable and cost-optimizing way. (Country-specific legislation must be taken into account here.)
  • the communication lines of the previous model can also continue to be used on the new device.
