The depth gauge is required to adjust the transmission on the 7-speed double clutch gearbox 0AM following depth-related repairs, such as replacement of gear wheels, synchro-rings or taper roller bearings. With VAS 6594, measurement of the assembly height of the shafts and of the shaft bearings is performed with high accuracy. A number of measurement points can only be reached with VAS 6619. The application is described in the workshop manual.
