The 2D scanner is used to scan 2D barcodes, such as those on batteries, or to scan the vehicle identification number, which can be found on the delivery notes for new vehicles, in maintenance mode. The scanner is only able to scan the original part numbers which are stored in the battery tester. Scanning in “Service” mode is not possible. The scanner is suitable for universal use with the USB connecting cable supplied.
