Application:

With windscreen repair set VAS 6093A, stone chip damage to laminated glass windows can be repaired in accordance with the legal requirements. By pressing in UV sensitive special resin, the damaged area is filled and then cured. Once it has cured, the damaged area has a clear glass finish, is as hard as glass and has the same refraction index. The following damage can be repaired:
bull's eye
combination break
star and crack

Prerequisites for repair:

• Damage may only affect exterior window
• Damage outside driver’s field of vision
• Damage must not intrude into rubber
• Craters of impact point no greater than 5 mm
• Cracks running from impact point no longer than 50 mm
