Windscreens, side and rear windows are being increasingly flush bonded during vehicle production. For repair work, removal of the windows can only be performed using special tools. However, not all tools available on the market are suitable for Volkswagen/Audi vehicles. The V.A.G cutting tools are well tested and do not involve cutting procedures that are hazardous to health. For all vehicles and window types, installation and removal with V.A.G equipment is described in the relevant workshop manuals.

Design and features:
The bond between the window and the body is separated using a special strong thread. The thread is wound up on the two rollers by means of a reel device with two suction cups. The rollers feature a support and are held in place by suction cups. The remaining sundries aid working with the thread during the cutting process.
