Product Description:

The handy mains-independent VAS616AUS special Volkswagen software is best suited for charge status measurements, warranty and service as well as quality control of stored batteries. The performance and residual capacity of the battery is determined via a guide value measurement so that it is not loaded. For this purpose, the data of all Volkswagen battery types are stored on the device.

Other time-saving functions of the VAS616AUS are an open-circuit voltage measurement without waiting time, the storage of several results on the SD card, a temperature sensor that increases the quality of the measurement as well as an integrated printer that permits the analysis to be printed out immediately.

The VAS6161AUS includes a brand selection for Volkswagen and Porsche at this moment, it supports all VW group brands:

The VAS616AUS contains a Volkswagen specific battery table. OE batteries can be selected via scanning or manual selection from the battery list. The VAS6161A uses custom thresholds based on the battery selected.

The VAS616AUS has a barcode scanner and printer which allows:

VIN scanning, when the VIN is available as a barcode / QR code.

Battery label scanning: All original VW batteries have a 2D code which contains battery data such as:

Ah rating

These fields will be pre-populated when the barcode has been scanned.
